In 2013, music venue Patronaat approached ATM for a design in their café. This was followed up in 2017 with another design for a new wall, after an expansion.
Both designs were executed in the same style. By using pieces of pallet wood as pixels, a wave-like pattern is created. Small shapes make big gestures, and the square planks form organic structures.
Total surface area of the wall is about 50 square meters. The amount of material used was four cubic meters of scrap pallets and 8000 screws. The use of residual material gives the work a sustainable nature.
